Honestly, it's just keeping with the times I've been an on and off watcher since the mid 80'S so what I saw in the mid 90'S was unbelieveable and a mockery of the sport I once loved. The sad truth is, 10 years from now john cena will look like a hulk hogan, and some other teeny bopper will be criticized and compared to cena. It's best not to think about it... you'll just miss the perpetuated glory days of wrestling.

I've been watching wrestling (especially WWF/E) since 1987... since I was born. And I hate John Cena. When JBL had his big winning streak, I wanted him to loose almost every time, but when I heard that Cena was the number one contender, I wanted JBL to win. John Cena is praised by his "great mic skills" which I think are ok. Just ok; and ok mic skills don't make up for crappy in ring skills. He finishes each match the same way. There is a combination of 6 moves that he uses every time. Maven had more in ring skills than Cena did. I'm so glad that Cena lost to RVD, then again I would have been glad had he lost it to anyone.
And as a side note, did the person two spots above me say they started watching wrestling at Wrestlmania 17... when wrestling was at its peak. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA oh man thats funny

I think the guy has a great personality outside of the ring and is very easy to work with....the other wrestlers trust him. I was visiting DC with my family and the WWE happened to be in town the same night. We were sitting at a restaurant and who sits down right next to us......John Cena. I hated the dude before this....with the same mind you had. I thought he was a punk and didn't do a thing to earn his status. I pretended I didn't know who he was.....my family didn't (I don't let my kids watch wrestling, they are too young). He was very polite to the wait staff and was very nice to the folks who interupted his meal to get an autograph and photo. I think that would have drove me nuts. I felt sorry for the guy, but he was appreciative of the attention he received. My perception of him changed this night. I think he got where he is because behind the scenes he is a class act.

I started watching WWF-that's right 'F'-back just before Wrestlemania 17. It was at its peak! Kane and Undertaker were a pair and they took on Triple H and Austin, with the occasional help from the Rock! The moment Booker T scissor kicked Austin through that commentary table was the moment WWF went down the drain. In short, I hate John Cena. I hate WWE now. It sucks!!!

Of course, John Cena made his own reputation in the wwe not nobody else, but if you think about it some of our great wrestlers moved on so there can be the up coming stars.

yeah he's over rated as everyone says... people love him beacuse he raps.. and it loses the eseence of wrestling... wwe is sport entertainment... cena is just an entertainer... not a wrestler at all.. if you watch all his match.. it all ends in the same way... cena is a pretty face... as a woman i know it.. he's got the looks.. talent.. he's not a good rapper at all... he's raps sucks...
im a fan of randy.. how i wish everything that wwe is giving to cen awould just be given to randy! randy knew wrestling... i know it... he deserve much more than he have now... he's genuine...

well i love wrestling..grew up on it..the rock n roll express..terry taylor..hulk hogan..stone cold..the rock..it has changed from actual wrestling to a big soap opera..although cena is good on the eyes..and his fishing move is some what of a joke..taking from the rock and stone cold..he still would not hold out in the WWF..he is more a WWE star..but he is still HOT
