When you are born, you are normal, you are part of a family, and a culture. You go about things like any normal kid should. You play you laugh, you lie once in a while. Then you grow up, and you become responsible. You have integrity... yeah... you cut corners, but everyone else does too. So no big deal. We all speed right?
I was like this...
I got saved...
Now I had a choice, my eyes were opened... I didn't have to cut corners, I didn't have to party hard... I could but I didn't HAVE to... everyone else HAS to. Your friends go out... you HAVE to go out too... or you are a loser, destined for lonliness...

We are all slaves to something, either slaves of God or slaves of sin. As a slave to sin I was sick from booze in the mornings, throwing up in a toilet. The walls melted from my bad acid trip.

Jesus says "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Do you want rest? email me at floydstimeis@yahoo.com
I will show you a master of rest.

Boy I get so uneasy ready those who speak of Jesus but obviously don't know his teachings (i.e. zephyrescent). Jesus didn't come to this world to inspire us, to enslave us, or to just show us how to live. He came so that we could be saved. The Jews believe the same thing, just that the one to save us isn't Jesus and has yet to appear.

The rules that have been set in front of us by God aren't there to make us do something, just to keep us from hurting ourselves. When a parent tells their children not to jump on the bed, is it because they are trying to run their lives? No, it is to prevent them from the harm that can occur if they fall.

Lastly, sure there are plenty of so called Christians who don't walk to the way they should, but that is not saying being a Christian is a bad thing. We as Christians should strive to be Christ-like and follow the example he set for us. But the main point is to have a personal relationship with Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit.

"For it is by faith that you are saved, not by works lest any man should boast."

We are not to save ourselves by becoming better people, but are saved through accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Our good works are not to save us but to come in response to our salvation

Its intriguing to look how folks take a query like this and instantly cross to the bible for solutions. Even realizing that there are extra gospels and books in the market which the church banned. The proven fact that neither the bible or the library point out a youngster is a well push within the path that they didn't have any. However I am in my opinion now not absolutely closed off to the suggestion both. In Jesus' day it used to be long-established to marry and feature youngsters. It used to be long-established to have youngsters. And as a Jewish guy following his religion as he did, it would not be thus far fetched that he did such matters as they have been long-established for a Jewish guy to take action. Now simply considering there used to be sexual ritual magic and the male didn't ejaculate in the course of such occasions (this train is not any one of a kind now for many who train such rituals) does now not imply it used to be incredible. If Mary used to be his lover/spouse is not it feasible that that they had intercourse external ritual? When we make like to our spouses it's for satisfaction and procreation. why might his case be any one of a kind?

well, what about us who arent pressured by others, never drank, never smoke, never drugged it up, never cut corners? i've never done any of those. i went to a catholic school for 9 years, and what i learned beyond all else, nobody likes for anyone to tell them how to live. if a muslim or a jew tried to tell you why you should believe in their religion, you'd be totally closed-minded to the idea, and if they persisted it would piss you off. so do everyone a favor, when ppl want to convert, they'll go to you, in the mean time, leave them all alone. you'll end up alienating those you seek to help.

You are freed by the inspiration of Jesus Christ. I rejoice for you. Now, my friend free yourself from the inspiration of Jesus Christ. Become more Christ-like and less Christian. Free your heart to shine and love all everywhere as he did. Its simply easy to do but many Christians just dont get this. They bow down and grovel to a MAN who said "You are all my brothers and sisters". Gandhi was truly right when he said "I like your Christ but i'm not too fond of you Christians. You Christians are so unlike your Christ".
He never intended dogma, he never intended preaching, he never intended that quote literally. He meant that in his inspiration, in his example you will find rest, the rst of heart that comes from the inspiration and example of a good person.
I am glad you've changed your life but please, please do not bow down to him, he does want this! he wants you to live life in love, not enslaved to God in love. What love is real if it is not freely given?
My friend, raise yourself up from your obeisance, free your heart from God and love life for ITS sake. If HE exists this is how He would want it. trust me on this, i know. It is my truth.
Please try and you will be rewarded-not in Heaven, not in Hell. But here in your life, in your world and in your heart and the hearts of those around you.
We are all, each of us alive in one another's hearts. In that we find true love and true life free from all slavery and sin and bitterness.
My deepest kindnesses to you.
