There's this girl I had a liking for and she said that she likes me likes me only wanted to be friends b/c I didn't move fast enough. I was cool with that until I started to notice that she would get jealous when I talked to other girls and then I tried getting her a valentine's day gift and she refused it. From there I was fed up and decided not to pursue her anymore but now I find myself thinking about her all of the time and we are good, close friends, we talk on the phone practically every nite and we tend to argue like we a couple but we are only friends. I think I have strong feelings for her but I don't want to revisit this conversation again b/c I'll get frustrated b/c I just feel that she likes me but she won't admit it (stubborn girl). She appears to have a difficult time expressing her true emotions (love wise) so she plays tough and stubborn. Anywho, do I still like her? Does she like me?

You guys are playing games with each other. Nevertheless, she may not want anything more than friendship. Don't confuse friendship on her side and what you feel for her. Goodluck! I know it's tough but better put things into the right perspective.

Ask her to a funny movie (there won't be that awkward silence of a serious movie audience and it may lighten her up) and then go to an outdoor cafe and grab a snack to share and visit. Don't talk serious or push her for answers. Just have fun and enjoy each others company. When she sees you can be fun and a gentleman, she may make a move and ask you out. If she doesn't, give her time to think. If she doesn't respond in a week or so, at least you had a fun evening.

make a friend date with her some where that is real private...... some where that if the 2 of you need to ummm, shall I say, raise your voices ?? it will not create a big problem...... talk to her about other things, and then gradually bring up the subject you have typed here....... then before it is all over and done, you need to demand she state her intentions towards you..... sounds old fashioned and prob. is , but I bet it works.... 1 way or the other !!! Yea You definately like her...but it is hard to tell if she likes you...Some of the things you stated above makes it seem like she is really into you and other things you stated makes it seem that she just wants to continue being friends...This is a really hard situation...I was in a similar one recently with a guy I liked but we grew apart.

If you have to ask if you like her, then no, you don't like her "in that way." Does she like you, probably, but that is irrelevant if you don't like her.
