The entire universe is MAGIC! It has been proven through Quantum Physics that a thought can change the universe. There were tests done with several thousands of people that were thinking the same peacefull thoughts in an experiment and the crime rate decreased during that time. A collective conscience can truley change the world!

Magic is all around. When you are driving toward a stop light and you think "turn green" and it does, that's magic! When you wish so deeply in your heart for that perfect job and you get it, that's magic!

There are three types of magic in the world:
1. Pull-a-rabbit-out-of-a-hat magic. This is the sort of magic Harry Houdini did and David Copperfield does. This is the illusionary, trickery form of magic.
2. Turn-a-prince-into-a-frog magic. This is the stuff of fairy tales, the sort of thing make-believe evil queens and witches (note the lowercase W) do. This is the storybook, fiction magic.
3. Ritual religious magic. This type of magic is another form of prayer, this is what Wiccans/Witches (capital W here, there is a difference from "witch") and other Pagans do. This magic is as real as Christians saying rosary or Jews saying kiddish. What I mean is, if you believe that people can do things like communicate with deities through prayer, then there is such a thing as real magic. If you don't believe that, then magic is not real.

We human beings possess magic...we do!

There are many things assumed to have a basis in science.

I disagree with those who state that science is capable of explaining all the things that transpire within our universe.

I believe science will never be able to explain away our capability to love, to create inspiring forms of art and to fully appreciate those things. To sacrifice and to have faith.

I believe there is a side to science which must always, at the end of the day, give in to the notion that magic does in fact exist in the soul of a child, the complex songs of the birds and whales, the electricity we route through endless uses, DNA and even the mysteries of matter itself.

We live in an age in which any visitor from just a century ago would not hesitate to describe as...magical.

We are all sorcerers, booting our computers and cells and ipods. Boarding a jet for a same-day cross-continental flight. The flicks of switches, the pushes of keys are our incantations.

Magic?
It's in us, and all around us!
Revel in the power!

Magic, is thought coming into being. When it comes to spells, charms, chants...., the practitioner uses energy from within and from without( meaning outside energy, ie stones, herbs, candles, The Earth, Deity influence) to bring about certain changes in ones life, or others' life. To manifest something immediately by slight of hand is a parlor trick. But some witches or ceremonial magicians, can manifest items, but only for a limited time. Like myself, I have used a form of magic called "Glamour (fairy magic)" to make other people believe that they are drinking other items but to other people it looks the same. It just depends. But to your question, that is just a stereotype created by Hollywood to bring in the feble-minded to spend money on "the stuff of dreams". Magic is an art form that should not be taken lightly. It is a way of life for many people.

No; magic, as shown on TV shows like the ones you describe, does not exist. It comes from the feverish imaginations of writers and special-effects people.
Magic, as performed by "magicians," is merely illusion.

not in the idea of charmed or sabrina but in the fact that your concept of reality is magic... Do a spell and believe in it whole heartedly and it will come true, just not with insant speed, shimmer light, or corporal spirits. research wicca, paganism , goddess worship, witchcraft, Craft of the wise, magick, and youll find just about anything..

Blessed be,
Geo

Yes! Duh! They just moved out of the Earth because human rulers all across the world passed a rule that would prohibit doing anything that would make life fun. Now it was too broad and so instead we have to come up with whole systems that serve to the same purpose.

The magic is in our imagination. Delight in it. But look closely at the world - the colours in leaves, and tree-bark, and clouds ... the variety of shapes and habits of birds and animals. Isn't that, too, a kind of "magic", so improbable, but so amazing, and beautiful?

No, that type of magic does not exist, but so called "magic" that Fortune tellers use is based on demons.
