This is going to sound a little harsh but, if she enjoys living alone, your companionship with her is going to be necessarily limited by the fact that she does not want to live with you right now. I advise taking up hobbies and enjoying the time you have to be alone right now. If you are meant to be together, she'll come back to you. If not, then you won't end up wasting however long putting your life on hold and waiting for her. During this alone time, you may want to explore why you "need" companionship and whether you are using a woman/companionship to fill a hole in yourself.

It sounds like you need something that your wife may not be willing to commit to right now.
If you truly love her then they say love will wait. However, sometimes when love waits it dies...
I recommend you express your needs & see if the 2 of you can meet in the middle - maybe some companionship but not the "totally together" mode...

It's time to get in or get out, and I think you need to tell her that. I'd be willing to bet any amount of money that she has her own "companionship" and isn't concerned about your well being. It sounds like she's playing mind games - does she say she cares about you, or that she loves you? Taking time to figure things out is one thing, but it's been over a year, and it's time to move on - she has.

You can't stay stagnant waiting for her. If you need companionship, you should allow yourself what you want. It sounds like she wants the best of both worlds; the old relationship and the single life. It's a tough decision, but I think you should go out and find what you want in life.

in the first place how could you say you love your wife and she says she cares for you when you let each other be in that situation right now that you're separated over a year... clear this up with your wife tell her how you feel and what your needs are... if she says she couldn't be that person anymore to fill those things up and be with you then get over her.... im sure you'll find the one who is for you..

If you need companionship ask your wife if she will be the one to be with you.If she doesn't want to then go on with your life and find a new woman.Tell you wife what your doing though so there is no surprises. It sounds to me though things aren't completely over with you and your wife.It needs to be one way or the other.Good luck!

My husband, and I are in the same situation. I left him about ten months ago, but I still love him. We had a lot of problems. I get so lonely sometimes, and have decided to give up on him. If it's been almost a year, and he says he still loves me but isn't willing to try to work things out so we can be together then I think it's time to move on. Which is exactly what i'm doing so you should try it.....................

Unfortunatly it doesn't sound like you two belong together. Let her go!!!! Then find yourself a real woman thats grown up and knows what she wants. Obviously your wife doesn't know what she wants,. Married yet seperated yet happy with it hmmm? Do yourself a favor and let her go. For the time being it will hurt but then in the future you will be happier.
Gotta sh*t or get off the pot!
Good luck!

At this point you should just move on with your life. If she likes it own her own then let her be, find you soemeone who wants the same things out of llif that you do.If you have waited over a year and she's still not ready, don't feel guilty about doing what makes you happy.

you to need to talk, what you are talking about is a dating relationship not a marriage. you need to let her know what you are looking for because it makes no sense to be separated for a year but dating. sounds like you ready to settle down in the marriage you are in she needs to decide if that is what she wants. if she wants to live lone so bad let her have that for as long as she wants it an move on.
