I'm looking for a vacation spot for the end of July. There will be 2 parents with 2 college age girls. We are interested in the beach and preferably on the gulf of Mexico. Where would you recommend. We are just wanting to relax on the beach so there does not need to be a lot of attractions.

Whats ur price limit? I'd say an island like Jamaica because a lot of the beaches along the Mexican and Texan coast get green and dirty some times. However, if you cant afford an island i'd say Cancun. Dont go to Texas beaches. i lived near Galveston for 9 years and its slimy smelly and if you open your eyes underwater, have fun trying to see for the next month lol.

Punta Cana or La Romana in the Dominican Republic!

Beautiful, gorgeous beaches, all-inclusive resorts and nice people!
