For instance you start typing an address and a bundh of other stuff comes up from previouse addresses

In internet explorer go to tools > internet options > content tab > Auto Complete then uncheck what ever you don't want to Auto Complete.

No you cant disable auto complete in address bar. It will show when ever you enter an address. You can delete them by going to tool/internet options/ and clear history. But remember they will start again.

you did not specify , you use IE or FIREFOX???

anyways, irrespective of that.....

please clear history to prevent urls popping up

in IE go to tools>>internet options...... under this you would find general tab....just towards the end you can find the button clear history. thats it....

Alternatively you can also stop auto completing without clearing the history, to do so go to tools>>options>>content (tab)>>third sections on the content tab is auto complete.....configure as you like

And for Firefox:
tools>>options>>privacy...under privacy there is sub-tab called history....CLEAR it...thats all

Please follow this path to solve ur problem. Tools> internet options> content> auto complete> clear forms. To stop the generation of history, uncheck the box of forms. It will solve ur problem.

Goto Tools > Internet properties> content tab. Then goto autocomplete button. There you can turn them off and delete any already stored.

Click TOOLS, then INTERNET OPTIONS. Select the tab marked ADVANCED. Uncheck the AUTOCOMPLETE box.

u can make it from ur mail options. check out the mail options in ur mail for the auto complete option.
