It is the "Epoch" in which it originated. The time frame as in millions of years old. Hope this helps.

Well, my guess is that is has to do with the soil on the earth today. Some believe that it has lost it's mineral content.

This sounds like a load of hoowie to me that is designed to sell stuff like 'Natural Healing Potions', etc.

If we'd just follow God's guidelines, which is to leave a field fallow every 7th year, then we'd be golden.
