Circumstance vs. Laziness. Some people are willing to do the work no matter how long it takes to get where they want to be. That means going to school, learning a trade or whatever until they reach a goal. Some people do that and never make the right connections, others just don't have the money to get where they need to be.

But the rest are people who just give up, or are too lazy to reach out for what they want.

Because they lack the determination to follow through with their goals once they set one. Of course, you should be realistic to get your best result......for example....if your not highly intelligent, dont plan on getting a scholarship and going to med school. Some people try harder than others.

They developed a detailed plan to get them where they decided they wanted to be. They had the determination to keep after it, sacrificing certain things to get others. (You still can't have your cake and eat it too.) And they were flexible enough in their plans to adapt to changes in their social or business environment that they couldn't control.
