My husband used to chat online. I always thought that its okay for him to chat as I trusted him. But a year ago, I found out he is having affair with a divorced woman whom he get to know in chatline. So, do you think chatline is creating opportunity for unfaithfull spouse to cheat??

Chatting/flirting/having sexual conversations online with another woman is cheating. I guess you can say he's cheating on you emotionally.

the fact taht he is talking/chatting to another woman when he has a wife at home IS cheating.Give him an inch and he will take a mile. You cannot trust him from the past and he should have to gain that trust back. And eh isn't going to do that by talking to women online.Explain to him that he has a beautiful RAL woman at home. That when he's online, he is taking away from your time together and that you want to trust him, but he isn't giving you reason to.Tell him if he needs or wants to talk, that you are right there and willing to talk about your problems, relationships, and yes.....sex.You are in a married relationship and sex can still be fun and interesting.Spice it up!Keep him interested as well as he should do the same.Marriage is a TWO WAY street!!Good luck and if all else fails...try counseling. It's always worth a try before you give up on marriage.

What planet have you been living on for the past 10 years....this crap happens all the time. Don't let him chat. The people in those chat rooms are vultures and prey on everyone! Many marriages have been lost because of the internet. Wake up!

Yes, it is definately cheating. It doesn't matter if it's online of offline. I have a good friend married for 8 years that recently installed one of these spy programs on her computer and found out her husband was chatting online with 3. Pathetic! I just installed http://www.emailspy.com on my computer also. We'll see.

Of course is creating opportunity to cheat , if he did it before he is going to do it again, once they cross that line it's easier to do it one more time, but now he is going to be more care full .

This is how my exwife found her new husband, while we were still married. then she left me to be with him because she felt that she was "finished with me" and my daughters.
