There really is no world cup live commentary to be found on the internet or web, neither from the BBC or Talk Sport. I am in China and I'm pretty bored of listening to the Chinese commentary which I don't really understand. I am from England and would really appreciate an urgent response as there is only one more day before our next match.

Well, thanks for your help guys, I will watch the matches and run my own commentary, nice advice. Regarding a particular answer, I'm not moaning, far from it. If you haven't noticed, I'm asking for advice so don't be so flippant with your remarks.

You are in a country where they censor western media. You knew that when you got there. So, either suck it up, and watch the soccer with the Chinese commentary, or go to Hong Kong, Taipei, Tokyo, or Seoul, find a pub, watch the match, and quit complaining.

I suspect that it's the licence agreements that prohibit broadcasting live world cup commentary. If it's anything like the Formulae One Grand Prix you can't get commentary on the web anywhere in the world. Sorry, not a helpful answer I'm afraid.
However, in response to the uninformed, prejudiced Yank above, it's nothing to do with China censoring Western Media, which is actually freely availble over here in China, where I am living at the moment.

Where about you in China, Comrade?
If you are in the big city, they might have a satelite TV to watch life sport show. If you are living far in the country or small city,
You might have a news on archived newspaper which will be ready for you to read in the library back home to your country.
Go to big city, Comrade or go to Hong Kong for holidays and stay to watch the life show.

Depends a bit on where you are. If you are in the bigger cities most hotels will have a bar where you can watch ESPN and the likes. In the real big cities, like Beijing or shanghai most expat bars have ESPN or other English language channels that show football
