I never had a problem understanding economics, but when i tell people that i have an econ degree, they give me this disgusting face and say "why would you ever do that?"

I'm going to college next year for an econ degree. Good to know that it is not that hard. I am pretty good at math and I am sure that you are too, because people that do not understand math are the ones that assume econ is impossible.
