Pujols for Thome and someone else would help in rotissere but if head to head hold on to Pujos and reap the benefits

This may sound crazy, but I would do it. Imagine Thome can match Pujols hr for hr. And who's to say Pujols will come back 100% The same can be said for Kent, but if he did hit 30 wouldn't that just be gravy?

Kent is almost 40 and is showing signs of being done. His numbers aren't anything this year. So just ask yourself if you want to trade Pujols for Thome. If you have a decent backup 1B i wouldn't do it though.

you are gonna trade 25 hrs (which by the way still leads the majors) and 65 rbi's( which also still lead the majors) for a hitter who has been battling a back injury off and on for the last few years and a near 40 yr old 2nd baseman? i have pujols and let me tell you hes untouchable to me and im in a roto league! still part of what you have to consider is who else is on your team

are you in a rotisserie league? if yes, then you should definitely think about it. pujols maybe out unti the all star break. that's a few weeks of stats that you are going to lose with pujols on the DL. i thought thome would cool off after his hot start but he hasn't yet. so maybe he could keep this production up the entire season.....the decision would have to depend on who else you have on your team, but i'd be leaning towards yes...do the trade.
if you're in a head-to-head league, then i'd hold on to him and try to keep your team in one of the playoff spots.
