I agree with Melissa R, baby is starting to drop and turn. the pressure can be unbearable at times. with my first, my doctor told me it was because of the dropping of the baby, and the fact that i was walking differently to support the extra weight. good luck with you birth and the joy of motherhood.

I am 32 weeks as well and having the same pains it is like very low and close to my pelvic bones but my midwife checked my cervix and I am thinning significantly since it startedlike two days ago, you should probably tell your doc at your next appt, you should be going every two weeks by now

That's just the baby getting into position. It's perfectly normal. The pain is just you feeling you baby's head pushing against the pelvic bones, the baby's just getting ready to be delivered.
Good luck.
(It still might take a few weeks for you to go into labor)

OUCH.
My son was hanging out there too. It means the baby is getting ready to make the journey outta there. I held my son in that position for two months. So, looks like your at that stage too.
I also started having Braxton Hicks. Had those earlier though (started a month before the dropping). But, tell your doc about this definately.
If your concerned call him tomorrow. Otherwise, if you have an appointment this week definately tell him. He'll probably want you to come in for an internal exam anyway just to be on the safe side.

The same thing happend to me. I was at a childbirth prep class and when we broke for lunch I was in so much pain I couldn't walk. The nurse reassured me it was perfectly normal and recommended I get a pregnancy belt. It looks weird, but it helps take pressure off of the pelvic bone and any relief you can get is well worth the dorky belt.

is this your first pregnancy? if so then it could just be the baby's head pushing down, but i would let your dr know you are having this pain. if its not your first pregnancy then it is normal because the ligaments supporting your uterus could be week and that would cause the pain and discomfort as the baby gets bigger its gonna put alot of pressure on you. you could also ask your dr. about a pregnancy belt. it helps hold and support the baby to keep it off your lower back and pelvic .

Sassy, like the other women said, it could be the baby positioning to be born but don't take a chance. I am a small woman and my son was so big that he weighed 8 lbs. and was 22 inches long which is big for my small frame. He was born by emergency c-section. Could be that you are further along in pregnancy or maybe you may have to have your baby early because of size. Still it is better to be safe than sorry. Call your doctor and ask what they think is going on...good luck

If the pain comes and goes, it could be contractions or braxton hicks. If it is constant, then the baby is probably leaning against a nerve. That happened to me though. It was so hard finding a comfortable position to lay down. The baby is growing now and it only gets worse. But in the end, it is SOOOO worth it.
