The film " Goodfellas" Is not merely a good film but an excellent one. Directed by the great Martin Scosese.
Joe Pesci won the Oscar for his prtrayal of a mobster who was fairly psychotic. And more importantly, the film was based on the TRUE STORY of Henry Hill, the character played in the film by Ray Lotta. Oh yes, I neglected to mention it also included Robert Deniro, Paul Sorvino, And quite a number of other actors and actresses who have become regulars in genre films. many you would know once you saw them . GET THEE TO A VIDEO STORE AND RENT THIS FILM !!! You wont be dissappointed.

Goodfellas is an awesome movie. Based on a true story, about a mafia crime syndicate that was brought down with one of it's members testifying against the crime family. Joe Pesci gives an unbelievable performance as a hot head, hot tempered, trigger happy gangster. And Robert Deniro, who happens to be one of my favorite actors, portrays an imposing gangster himself. Probably one of the best movies of all time.

Goodfellas is a great movie. It's a good drama with just enough tongue in cheek humor to keep it light, and the acting is superb.

yea its pretty good if ure in to the mafia type movies. this irish kid is growin up in New York and got a job i forget get what though but on one day i think he was makin a delivery or somethin and he saw the italians makin faster money so he started hangin around that bein the lil errand boy and he gradually became more to them and turned into like a bigshot. the whole thing is like "how can we make bigger money" so then it ends up involving drugs and thats where trouble comes.

U betcha!! Just remember, it is partially true and partially Hollywood. So, when you do see it, and it is a few years old, just keep in mind it is a glamorous eye version and all is not to be taken seriously . Just ask Sammy the Bull! Shoot, I think he wrote the book! Then he got into the witness protection program and blew it so, oh well, you be the judge!!!!!!

ITS PRETTY GOOD IT HAS ROBERT DE NIRO ITS A MOVIE ABOUT THE SICILIAN MAFIA IN NEW YORKK.......I GIVE IT 8.5
