Hey There Poisonfan; Even though I served from1976-1982 I think I can safely say for all my fallen Bros as well as all those who are still in harms way for us all, You & anyone like you, who recognizes that we aren't zealots & gun-toting maniacs out to kill & maim on purpose but ordinary folks, gals now just as much as guys, just as scared & sometimes real lonely just like all you all would be if you were in their shoes, just doing what has to be done & made really, Really, proud when someone back here stands up & Thanx us.....From servicemen/women everywheres, you are welcome & hopefully we'll see each other real soon!!

I'm a soldier, but you don't have to thank me because i know as a soldier that 95% of all of us soldiers just serve for a paycheck, and because we didn't know what else to do with our lives. It's just a benefit that we are thought of as good. I'm sure if you were a foreigner you wouldn't like us so much.
By the way thank you for what you do too... i'm sure it's just as good

Me too !!! I do not like the war, and wish Bush would bring the troops home from Iraq. But, as long as you all are over there fighting, you have my support, and my wishes for God's Blessings.
Same with Afghanistan.
Good luck to you all. You are my heroes !!!!
And a Special thanks to the Viet Nam Vets. I LOVE YOU !!!!!

I second that emotion! Thank you to all who are serving now, helping to keep us free and safe, and to those who came before. "All gave some...some gave all."
Our best thoughts are always with you, no matter where you are or what you do.
