Reality tv isn't necesarily scripted, but it's at least manipulated and the people involved are coached and directed to an extent to achieve the desired affects. Everyone wants their fifteen minutes and some are more desperate for it than others. Frankly, I'm ready for the comeback of the good-old sitcom. Farewell crime dramas and reality tv, we want the funny guys!

The reality shows seem to be the most scripted (if that's possible). Except for a few shows, I don't watch too much tv. I know it's entertainment, but please don't tell me those reality shows are actually real.

Hopefully no one believes that reality TV shows are scripted. The actors and actresses could sue for false casting..ie..to act on TV you must beglong to the Screen Actors Guild (UNION).

Pro wrestling is scripted/choreographed. Reality shows are, I think,"manipulated." And they generally stink.

Well, maybe not always scripted, but they certainly go to a lot of effort to ensure that there will be a maximum amount of personality conflict between people.

i don't watch tv anymore. but not really all of them are cause if you think about it you so use to seeing things that way you don't even know what they are feeling due to them being new to the show. every1 is like some1 else in a way and tv shows that. you just grown to into tv you can't grip to real life anymore.

I don't. The show Blind Date is simply too weird to be scripted. They would make things more interesting if it was.

I do I do. I also think that they're terribly destructive especially for people with disabilities, because it models destructive behavior encouraging people to turn against each other for a totally artificial and stupid differences. (Getting voted off the island etc.)
