The other answerers were right, bottlenose dolphins are also able to recognize themselves in mirrors. The study was published in 2001 in PNAS. As in the classic experiments on chimpanzees done by Gallup, here also animals were marked with a temporary mark on their body. Their behavior was consistent with that displayed by chimps and other great apes (or yourself when you discover a weird spot of color on your forehead... that is, except for the swearing you may display). It is an interesting example of evolutionary convergence with great apes and humans.

I believe in the last few years it was proved that at least some species of Dolphin are able to recognize themselves. The method used involved a paint mark on a part of the body they would only be able to see in a mirror. I forget where i read the study unfortunately.

Chimpanzees, Bonobos, Orangutans, Bottle nosed dolphins, and above average Gorillas.
Gorillas are sort of cow like in that their diet is more heavily plant based than most of the 'higher' primates, and they have a more rigid social structure. They don't need a whole lot of smarts, so only the brightest of them can self recognize.

i'm having trouble with the source, but I remember reading that there was research like this done with pigs. Pigs rank 4 in the species IQ list. (humans, NHP's, dolphins, pigs) So I wouldn't be surprised if they could.
