does the cervix swell during very early pregnancy?

I am still a few days away from my period, but there is a chance I could be pregnant. I was wondering if the cervix swells in the very early stages because I felt mine and it felt really swollen. I have a few other symptoms of pregnancy but they are a lot like the ones I get when my period is close so it's hard to distinguish. Please give me any feedback. I would appreciate it.

The cervix hardeans, which you could think was swelling. It is one of the more "for sure" signs of pregnancy. you might look into getting a first response pregnancy test, they can detect the hormone 5 days before your missed period. Good Luck!!
