I have been reading questions from these teens. It seems that most of them don't know how a person gets pregnant, or they want a baby or they need to have sex for some sick reason!

Teens: Are you paying attention in your sex ed classes??? If you are you should know about birth control and how a woman get pregnant!

Teens have no business having sex ( They don't need it! The plesure of sex was given to us by God for married couples only) and they shouldn't have the right to keep their babies! They are ruining their lives by doing this! There lives are over!

Teens: You don't need to have sex! Sex is made for married adults only! Save your self for marriage! It is the way God wants it and you will be better off! You don't need to have a baby to love you! If you want something to love you get a puppy or a kitten! You guys need to grow up and pay attention in your school studies! That is your only important job! School!!!

Where are their parents! What kind of parents allow their kids to date at such a young age ( 13-15) Not good ones, I can tell you that much! You should know where your kids are at all times! Control is the key to good parenting!

I don't think I am dumb! I paied attention to my sex ed class in High School! I didn't want a child out of wed lock! So I did the smart thing! I saved my self for marriage! I was a virgin bride at the age of 28.

In high school I was the captin of the cheerleading squad and dated the captin of the football team! The most we ever did was make out! Kissing and petting! That was it! I never saw a man naked until my wedding night!

It is not hard at all to say NO!

We were taught that sex before marriage was wrong! But we were also taught about birth control!!!

I only knew 1 girl who got pregnant in high school! ( our school had 400 kids in the whole high school. I had 92 in my graduating class. She was in the class after me!) When they found out she was pregnant they kicked her and her boyfriend out of our school and her family was laughed out of our town with in a month!
To this day the school I went to doesn't allow pregnant girls to attend the high school! They must go to a school for pregnant teens 30 miles away! We have no daycare or anyway to care for a pregnant girl! It is a wonderful school! I loved going there! And it is the only high school in the whole town!

Hubby was a virgin too! Nothing is wrong with saving your self!! In fact you are better off if you do! The best things come to those who wait! Sadly I don't think that most of you understand that!
I feel so sad for Y'all!

Some teens make the wrong decisions or take the wrong paths in life. The reason behind this could likely be an unstructured/ unsupervised home life.

I'm teen myself and prefer abstinance. I understand that there are other forms of contraceptives out there, Health class and all, and find myself bowled over by such idiocy.

But to say that teens have no business having sex and saying God deemed sex for married couples is controversial. So is saying that saving yourself is the way God would want it. In this day and age where there are so many different religions, different sects, there are several people who'd take offense and down right disagree.

Get a puppy or a kitten? Hmm...

I think I'll continue in the same train of thought that you've shown. God gave us free will, with free will we can choose to do things as we please, when we please.

Wow you sound a bit angry..... I understand to a certain extent what your talking about, most teens these days don't pay attention. However i have. I'm 16 and i have no intention of losing my virginity until there is a wedding band on my finger! I do however think you are being a bit paranoid. It's not your job to try and educate everyone else's kids. That's part of parenting is guiding your child to be a better person. I think having kids is for a married couple who is financially and emotionally ready in the relationship for a child. But you can't honestly expect teenagers to listen to you when your yelling at them. Be calm when/ if you talk to teens if you get upset, they will get upset, and therefore you lose w/e lesson you were trying to teach them.

Yes. Kids these days are plain stupid, take Sweet Cherry right below me as a perfect example... but I don't agree with your standpoint.

I disagree with "teens have no business having sex". If you are mature enough, have the proper knowledge, are safe about it, and are mentally prepared for the possible consequences that will come with it, there is nothing wrong with a teenager having sex.

It is a natural instinct for humans to be curious. These kids grow up in an environment that is very media driven. The media around us is very sex driven because guess what... sex sells. Kids these days are having sex at a much younger age and that's not going to change, no matter how hard you try.

Sex isn't made for married adults only, as you view it based on your morals and/or religion. Sex is a biological function to help mankind evolve and continue to live. Outside of that, the desire to have sex is to enjoy life, other than to reproduce. See it as you may, but you're a fool for thinking sex is sick.

why do you go after people who for one aren't your age? is it cause you are so self centered that you have to go after someone younger then you? is it cause all adults suck and they don't like the way there lives aren't going the way they want it to go? another thing that you should do is get God out of your questions dammit. With all the **** that's on TV and in magazines these days what with actors and actress and musicians and stuff like that I'm not surprised that many teens get pregnant. and sex is not only for married people most people lose their virginity before they get married. Oh, Just so you know Many schools don't have 'Sex Ed' even if they did they don't tech what we (us children,'Teens') need. So does this answer your questions?

Teens having sex before marriage, teens getting pregnant ... this isn't anything new. If teens are considered stupid this day in age, say all teens of every decade has been stupid. Hell, my Grandma's first child was out of wedlock. That was 62 years ago. The only difference in a couple having premarital sex compared to a couple who had premarital sex and got pregnant is one got caught, one didn't.

I'm almost positive most teens do know how one becomes pregnant, but speaking on behalf of most teens -- most believe "it won't happen to me". Not to mention, many of them are too afraid of going to their parents to ask them to put them on birth control. Afraid, because of parents (such as you) lashing out at them and not understanding their normal teenage hormones. What happens next? Teenage pregnancy. Kids do what they want, they have a mind of their own...the majority of what they learn, they learn from friends, school, society in general. No parent lecturing "no sex till marriage" day after day will change what they WILL do. If anything, teens respect an honest parent, an open parent, one who understands what's it like to be a teenager, better yet, one who admits to their own mistakes that they made themselves.

In response to your "Where are the parents?!" comment...even the best parents who have taught their children all the rights and wrongs of life have children that make mistakes. Our preacher's son impregnated a girl at 16 years old, to say the least, he was a bit shocked basically because he thought he had been a "perfect" parent, he learned real quick that kids do as they please and not what parents wish for them. Point being, this is not a "perfect" world...things are changing, not for the better -- just telling your teenager daughter to wait till marriage doesn't work anymore. Congratulations on your decision to be a virgin bride at the age of 28... please understand not everyone is like you, not everyone makes that same decision. They aren't stupid, they're living and learning one day at a time.

The majority of teens and preteens are not stupid, some not quite mature yes, but stupid, no. And some of these questions in here I am sure are not sent by real teens, they are sent by players or pervs who get their rocks off when people post answers. Sex Ed, no matter how well its taught, needs a follow up by someone responsible, which usually is a parent, and in my house being the oldest of 5, I also talk to my sibs about sex, and sex abuse, and pregnancy, and try and answer any questons they got.

But please remember not to group all teens in the stupid catagory. .

Honestly, this 'stupidity' as you say is only a symptom of the root problem: a non-existent relationship with the world's Savior, JesusChrist.

I am 18 and up until about a month ago was homeschooled. I am so thankful to God that he reached out to me and extended His grace. Prior to that (when I was 16) I got into a really bad relationship with a girl. I broke-up with her and i found out a few months later that she had had sex with someone! she had always said that she was waiting untill marriage but obviously that never happened. In retrospect, I beleive that i would now be a father had we stayed together.

The point is, without Jesus it does not matter what you do, you are your own god. You want to sleep around, go ahead who cares. It is when you surrender everything to Him, that resisting temptation becomes important.

I agree that teens should not have sex. I have never had sex, and will not until I get married. Mind you, it will be a wedding night to remember!!
And one of the reasons it will be a night to remember is that it will be a first. So many of my friends look back on their first time with regret. I don't want to do that

Was there a question in that sermon?
First off, take your god crap out of it. That is what has caused most of the problems you are ranting about. Instead of a real sex-ed class that actually gives these kids the info they need, they get some kind of faith-based baloney that doesn't answer any of their questions or give them any information, and leaves them looking for answers in places like this. When are you morons going to get it through your heads that just telling kids "Don't screw until you get married because JESUS said so" doesn't work?
