I am having a thick white substance secreting from just one nipple and have no idea what it is or why its occuring. There is no pain at all in or around the nipple and secretion only occurs when nipple is pressed or squeezed. There is no redness or swelling on the nipple nor is there any blood in it. It is pretty thick and not runny at all. Has a kinda off white color. It has a very distinct and slightly bad smell to it. It does not come out in vast amounts, just a little bit. Every couple of weeks it builds up and becomes itchy and slightly irritated when not squeezed out. I am not pregnant or breast feeding. I have no kids at all. I am not sexually active at the moment. I have researched it but have not found an answer as to what it is. I have been checked for breast cancer, but that wasnt it either. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it is or could become???

It could be a blocked duct, a tumor, or a sign of a hormonal problem (such as hypothyroidism or prolactinoma). You need to see a doctor and have hormonal blood tests done. If these are normal, you may also need a mamogrm or breast ultrasound.

I would recommend to have a surgical oncologist that does breasts to have a look at it. You have the option of taking out the duct if this is the cause, but you're not saying the studies you had done already so it's hard to tell whre you are in your diagnostic workup.

I think it might be a tumor or a cyst. Keep an eye on it though. Keep getting it checked. This website has a lot of really detailed information on things like that. Check it out.

I'm no doctor but it might be lymph fluid, as there are several lymp nodes in the breast area. Or I could be totally wrong. Either way, it shouldn't be happening.

They say that some women can latex just being around babies, or hearing them cry or thinking about them. If there is not physical reason, cancer etc then ask your doctor GYN if this could be possible.

It might be a clogged node/gland with a possible infection. You should go to the doctor or the local health clinic

No, I don't think so. I had that once before and it turned out to just be an infection in my ducs. I'd go to your doctor and have it checked out. Its nothing <3
