This is what the bible has to say about mans/womans good works.

But we are all like an unclean thing,
And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags;
We all fade as a leaf,
And our iniquities, like the wind,
Have taken us away.
And there is no one who calls on Your name,
Who stirs himself up to take hold of You;
For You have hidden Your face from us,
And have consumed us because of our iniquities.

Isaiah 64:6-7

How can I get to heaven?

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on him shall be saved. John 3:16.

This is the gospel. Why do we need the gospel? Well according to the Bible, all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. This means that none of our good works will ever make us good enough to get to heaven. For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourself, it is a gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast. The only way we can get to heaven is by placeing our faith in the finished work of the cross of calvary, not in mary, not in money, not in good works.

The bible says that if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. But simple confession of sin is not good enough. We must believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God who was both 100% man and 100% God, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day.

Salvation is not meant to be a difficult thing for us to grasp. It is so simple that a child can do it. If it were a requirement for man to believe on Jesus and also do works to get to heaven, than Jesus died for no reason. However, since Jesus did die on the cross for our sins, he did all that was necessary for our salvation.

The first step in salvation is to realize that we are all sinners. (For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God)

The next step is to realize that there is a penalty for sin.
(For the wages of sin is death...)
this means that because we are sinners we deserve death in the eternal lake of fire.

The next step is to finish the previous verse:
(...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.)
This is where the faith in Jesus Christ's work on the cross comes in.
(That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved)-Romans 10:9

u seem to be really concerned to go to heaven.. infact every human should feel this..one thing tat is sure to happen is tat every human who is born, has to die.. thing is.. where would he go after death..as i told u already, this life( which man has complicated so much) will take him only to hell. the identification is seen in every death( ten signs tat i spoke about).

jus think about it.. r u the body or the mind.. for example, a computer does a process. So is the hardware the process or the software the process?? yes the software are we.. this temporary body is hardware.. we should learn to overcome the thought that we are this body. which actually is not the case.. this is the first step.. as i told u, we ppl hear have crossed this stage... we are now back to this world only to inform with bang to every worthy human, the way to reach heaven..

The question is merely responded in James 2:24, " you spot then a guy is justified by ability of works and not by ability of religion in reality" Many will upload that one be conscious in a lot of texts. The be conscious in reality. Now having stated that. Our meritorious works gained't get us to heaven. Luke 17:10 "we've performed what replaced into our accountability" we are able to not earn our thanks to heaven. the in reality element we earn is death in accordance to Romans 6:23. The present is eternal existence. yet in reality to those who've been got here across honest at His coming. Rev. 2:10 Paul even says in Romans 6:a million that grace isn't a loose value ticket for sin. I John a million:6, " if we are saying that we've fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not prepare the truth" don't be fooled by ability of a few non secular mumbo jumbo, study the inspired understand God and understand for your self.

I read somewhere that it does not matter how many good things you did but what matters is BEING CLOSE TO GOD, this doesn't mean that you can sin all you want as long as you believe in God, it just means that doing good deeds is not all there is to it. You have to allow yourself to be close to God by praying and doing what God tells you to do which is doing good deeds, all sining does is tear you away from the closeness of God(because God opposes sining), basically you just have to be close to God and the way of doing this is by believing in him and doing good things(which makes him happy) and by praying to Him. When I first found out about this it didn't make sense... but I have come to believe this is the way to get into heaven.

try going to chruch instead of yahoo. you can get into heaven by believing that god sent his son to die for u on the cross so that u don't have to pay the price for ur sins. u then have to say a prayer saying u beleive and admit u r a sinner. ask God to forgive u of those sins and come into ur life. it's as simple as that. u can't win ur way into heaven by being good. u have to believe and confess. i suggest u visit a local church for more info.but be careful.i've been to many churches and only a few actually live like they preach. if u truley beleive then u can pray this prayer right now:

" Lord Jesus, I need you. I believe you sent your only son to die on the cross for my sins.I confess to you that I am a sinner and have sinned against you. Please forgive me of my sins! I turn my life over to you and accept You as my God and Lord and Savior. I invite You to come into me and to take control of my life in every area of my being. It all depends on God's mercy. Like the story Jesus told. A sinner and a pharisee both prayed to God. The pharisee praising himself about all the good he did. The sinner saying "be merciful unto me a sinner." Jesus said the sinner was more justified in God's eye, than the one who thought he was so good.

If you believe that the Bible is true (and I do), then good works can't save you. "Except a man be born again", "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son". You must believe that Jesus is the only Son of God and that He died for your sins. Then accept Him into your heart. It's that simple.

Heaven does not actually exist, the idea of religion is to create rules for society to live by and to enforce these fules through fear. You fear that if you are bad you will go to hell therefore you try to be good.
