Wheaton College (Illinois) is the most prestigious Christian college/university (if you're talking about ones that still actually promote Biblical doctrine and require Bible classes and chapels, not just those that were founded on Christian principles). Other pretty good ones I know of are Taylor (Indiana), Biola (California), and Houghton (New York).

Check out the Concordia College University system. It's a Lutheran college with over 13 colleges and universities across the country. They have a program where you can attend one college and visit other colleges with in the system for a semester. I attended the Concordia in Bronxville, NY.
Concordia College in Bronxville, NY offers small class sizes and sits a short train ride away from NYC. You have the benefit of living in a affluent community and access to all the opportunities NYC has to offer.
The parties on Christan campuses tend to be a bit tame. Most Christian colleges have strict visitation rules at the dorms at night--IE...no members of the opposite sex permitted in the dorm floors after 10pm until 11am. But over all, it is a great experience.

I would reccomend all the Jesuit Universities. They have very high standards of education, and a tradition of "cura personalis" - care of the whole person - which I think greatly benefits Christians.
The college board website has great resources for picking a school. Plus, you can specify a Christian school

If you are searching for a good, quality, Christian university, the Minneapolis area is a very good place to look. They have many Christian universities, including Northwestern, Bethel, and Concordia.

Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA. It's about an hour S of Pitt. I went there for 2 years and enjoyed it. It's in a small town, it's a small school, and they are actually well known in PA for the kind of graduates they put out. If you're not wanting to do actual Bible work like a preacher or something (or even if you do), you should check them out. I transferred b/c I switched majors and went closer to home. Good luck in your search.

Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, OK. My pastor and his co- pastor(his wife) went there. They learned a lot. They were in youth ministry for 10 years before becoming pastors. In fact they have made such an impression that three of our young graduates in the last 4 years have followed in their footsteps and went to Rhema. This is a good place to go for life experience. It is really Bible based, faith based college. You will learn everything about ministry the theological as well as the pratical side. Check into it

Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The curiculuum, (I think that's how you spell that), is top notch, the city of Shawnee is small enough to be out of the urban crunch but big enough to provide all services. And, it is within easy driving distance to Oklahoma City, Norman, (Home of Oklahoma University), etc... and the campus is lovely. Plus, the cost of living is much lower in Oklahoma than in many other states, so if you have to support yourself, everything's cheaper.

Indiana Wesleyan and Southern Wesleyan are two good ones that I've had friends go to. Many of my Southern Weslyan friends transferred to Indiana though because it's an extremely large private school.
