you can take some rice, boil it, and just before the water gets absorbed by the rice put it in a cup and drink it. also bananas and toast will help dry you up. go cautiously because the rice water will realy plug you up then you will have the opposite problem--can't go.

The patient should drink plenty of fluids, however, in severe cases hospitalization to provide intravenous fluids may be necessary. A physician should be notified if the patient is dehydrated, and if oral replacement is suggested then commercial (Pedialyte and others) or homemade preparations can be used. The World Health Organization(WHO) has provided this easy recipe for home preparation, which can be taken in frequent small sips:
• table salt: 3/4 teaspoon
• baking powder: 1 teaspoon
• orange juice: 1 cup
• water: 1 quart or liter
Supplements
Nutrient replacement also plays a role in preventing and treating diarrhea. Zinc especially appears to have an effect on the immune system, and deficiency of this mineral can lead to chronic diarrhea. Also, zinc replacement improves growth in young patients.
Dietary supplements that are generally beneficial in the treatment of digestive disorders include:
• vitamin C: 50-500 mg daily
• vitamin B6: 50-150 mg daily
• magnesium aspartate: 400 mg daily
• vitamin E: 400 IU daily
• glutamine: 3,000 mg daily
• garlic, deodorized: 2,000 mg daily
• deghycirrhizinated licorice: chew as needed

Kinduva regular thing I have, my stomach is a bit sensitive. Works best for me to take digest aids, fiber, and plenty of water. If really bad, I add Pepto-Bismo (the bismuth is very helpful).

Actually did you know most stomach flu and bugs are actually caused by eating contaminated foods? But anyhow, you gotta regulate your BM's. Eat fibrous foods, crackers will help firm up the stools but you don't want to go too far and be constipated. Eat crackers and soups, breads for a day, then start back in a normal diet but add some fruits and make sure you drink alot of water to push things through. For the cramps, try a moist hot pack.

IBS gives a lot of difficulty in treating stomach issues without medication. It sounds like you might need to consult your doctor if the diarrhea continues for much longer. Watch out also for dehydration as this is common with severe diarrhea. Watch for a fever, severe cramping and vomiting. the only option you have is to let nature run its course. Be sure you drink plenty of fluids and keep your eating to a minimum. Fluids will help flush the virus out of you and also keep you from dehydrating. If it lasts longer than another 3-4 days, I would see a doc to make sure you dont have a bacterial infection of some kind. If you do feel like eating, eat starchy foods like plain rice or toast. Avoid greasy foods and sugary foods. Good luck.
I agree with the above suggestion- apples are binding foods and also the BRAT diet sounds great. Dont eat foods with a lot of fiber because fiber will not help. In fact, people take fiber to maintain healthy bowel movements when they are constipated.

You can change your diet, stay away from caffeine and chocolate. Unfortunately there is no fast fixes to get rid of the blemishes, but there are some pretty good cover-ups. Be sure to wash your face before you go to bed, overwashing can also cause blemishes so be sure to pick an awesome moisturizer with sunscreen in it. I love Ponds personally, but I was one of the fortunate ones that rarely had breakouts.

The best remedy is - take 1/2 cup boiling (strong) tea that you drink normally, and add other 1/2 cup of normal water, and drink it immediately. You will find immediate relax. Take another similar drink after 2 hrs. Thats it & problem solved.
Plz dont go for medicine, after all it is chemical & will do some side effects.

stay away from dairy products. eat foods that are binding like rice, crackers, drink plain tea without milk. if diarrhea lasts more than a couple of days see your doctor.

Just make sure you drink lots of fluids like water and gatorade, that's the key to making you well again. And if it doesn't get better in a day or so i would say you should go to the emergency room.
