hooking up my tivo..?

I have cable and now im getting tivo. I have also have cable internet that's what my other splitter (spelling?) is using. Will I have to to purchase one more and slpit my cable net with my tivo?? help me please!!

Shouldn't be necessary.
It should be a simple additional item in-line before your tv.
Like a VCR. Cable comes into the house, goes to the back of the cable box, then to the back of the tv. I would think and understand I'm not certain... That it should be cable into cable box, out to Tivo, Out of Tivo into TV.
