Yes, if you get on more than you used to, your personality will change and it will be harder for you to interact with other humans and life forms of other sorts.

If it's being difficult by locking up, ect.. you betcha it can! But on the flipside it can make me happy, when it delivers mail/im's from friends.

by all means it can,it can cause you to be happy if you enjoy what your doing on it,it can make you mad if it doesnt work right,it can busy your mind if youre bored, it can make you feel better if you learn some thing from its use,etc ,etc,etc
