For me personally, Jesus is my Lord and Saviour. He died on the cross for you and me! What awesome love! I was raised Southern Baptist and believe in the prayer of salvation. When I was 11, I prayed and asked Jesus to come into my life and heart and be my Lord and Saviour. I believe and have faith that God is there. I couldn't put one foot in front of the other if I didn't have God in my life. I have overcome much in my life, including a drug addiction and eating disorder. (I've been clean for 21 months only by the grace of God!) I believe I will get to Heaven by living my life right and obeying God. When I fail at something, I ask God to forgive me. I believe that I was saved when I was 11 and for that and by doing the right thing according to God's will, I will go to Heaven! I pray I see you there my friend!! :) God Bless!

Jesus existed. His purpose was to get people closer to God

To me he reminds me of the other religious figures... whether it be buddha, or mohammed, etc.
He did more good for the world than most of us ever will and he should be praised for that.

and to get to heaven... you have to die... and you have no control over if you go there or not even if you believe in God because he might be just conducting some experiment down here on earth... where in the end he decides to allow only Sam Walton and his family into heaven for designing Wal-Mart

Jesus was a great man. His purpose was to spread kindness and understanding. It means more than just having faith. And you get to heaven by wanting what you already have. (not to sure on the get to heaven part)

This is what I believe:

Jesus atoned for our sins so that when we repent we are forgiven. He also died and was resurrected so that we could eventually regain our own bodies. He also, through the power of God, created the Earth. In order to be exalted, sort of like reaching the highest part of heaven, you need to get baptized at the age of 8 (or older), get confirmed and receive the gift of the holy ghost, get endowed, and get married in the temple. I think, but don't take my word for it, that you also need to have the priesthood if you're a guy.

Edit: He was also the literal son of God. Plus you have to be good as you can be and repent when you sin to get exalted.

jesus is god's messenger. he was here to convey human's duty of reaching heaven. he had said tat the end of this world is nearing and his father(almighty) would come down to earth and help all human to reach heaven when they identify him. this world life is temp in humans life. every human is a permanent being. after this temperory life in this world, he has to b either in heaven or hell permanently. this is the doorway. but humans have gone off-track.. they r caught in an illusion and have themselves made life complicated........ there r ten scientific signs in a human's body once he is dead. this shows if he has reached god r not.. the most important sign being is: if there is Semenal discharge after death, its a sign of the man reaching hell. similarly setting of rigour mortis, cooling of body, smell of the body and decomposition of body r few of those ten signs showing tat the man has reached hell...

but here now few have identified the almighty.. we ppl dont have the above said signs after our death.. our bodies will themselves will stay preserved for ever( like those of st. Xavier and many others) staying as a sign of we reaching the heaven.. these proofs will soon spread over the world.. because the time for judgement day is nearing.........

if u believe in this.. and if u wannna reach the ultimate destiny, post a question and i will let u know about the place..

Jesus is the Son of God. He came to earth to manifest God's love for humankind. By living a life free from sin, and then suffering and dying, our sins were forgiven. It means to me that I am special and loved. I feel God's active involvement in my life daily, and I am eternally grateful for His love and mercy. The only way to get to heaven is to have God allow it, we can do nothing to earn salvation. I would never be so presumptuous as to suggest that I would know how God makes that decision.

Jesus is the Son of God, with the holy trinity God comes through Jesus. His purpose was to spread the word of God, I think he was the "Messiha" To me, that means he was put on an earth of suffering to die for our sake and save us. I think you get to heaven by being a good person, when you die, God will ask you, "what did you do with my Son I gave you" you need to accept Jesus as your savior to get to heaven.
