It's not which is more attractive universally but what is more appealing on you. With my pale skin, pale eyebrows and freckles I make a great redhead, an okay blonde and a goofy-looking brunette. I've known plenty of brunettes though who would look horrible if they went blonde.
The girls who have the most fun are the girls who are most comfortable with themselves. You can't be comfortable with yourself when you have a haircolor that doesn't match the rest of your appearance.

It is a matter of personal taste and preference. It also matters as to whether the hair color matches the rest of the features of a person. I have always had dark hair, I tried on a blonde wig one time and immediately could tell I didn't have the coloring to be a blonde. I will say this, it has been my experience that blondes get more attention than brunettes. This is something I have noticed is true regardless of the age of the blonde. I have always preferred dark hair in men, but for some reason married a blonde man....both times.

They don't call the most outstanding, attractive member of a group the "golden boy/girl"for nothing and how many natural blondes do you think are covering their tresses with dark dye compared to brunettes who are bleaching? COME ON. Blondes are the Chosen Ones.

Even though they say "Blondes have more fun" I think Brunettes have a more intellegent and mysterious look about them. (Did you ever see a blonde that looked mysterious)
