Isn't it just silly how democrats and republicans are always in a fued?? I think it's just pathetic! Both sides criticize a leader or person for being in a party without even listening to what the other person has to say! And it isn't even necisarrily between dem's and repub's, it's between every party, and none is less guilty than the other! They all fight about stupid things, call each other names, etc! Even here on yahoo! answers, I see in politics people saying stuff like, "stupid democrat" or "go to h*ll republican". And some people call the other party childish, but they are both being childish. Now I'm not saying that it's wrong to have parties, because I agree that having them is fine, and voicing your opinion or belonging to a group with the same ideas as you is fine, it's just that it's getting to a point of silliness!! It's always name-calling and fighting. Does it really matter what party someone is in? Doesn't it just matter if they're good or not? Does anyone agree w/ me?

Agreed. This country has big enough problems that need ANSWERS and it is frustrating when they haggle and dicker and argue and fight about whose solution is better. It looks terrible to other countries in the world as well, because it looks like we can't get along in Congress any better than the Sunni's or Shiites.

I think it has come to the place in the century where we need to be a whole lot less partisan and a whole lot more moderate. We are in Iraq and other places in the world shouting democracy edicts to other governments and we haggle like children fighting over toys. It is awful.

What I think we need to do is to start encouraging younger people in college and just out of college to throw out the boomers who have fermented this nasty tasting wine. We need to get rid of conservatives and liberals alike and Democrats and Republicans alike until they decide to get along.

These Congressional and legislative members are like the only child in a playpen full of babies. Totally unsure of how to get along with everyone.

I do agree that things have become ridiculous; an individual should stand on their own merits, or lack of them. Unfortunately, the reality, at least in this country, is you must belong to a party in order to have the financial support needed to run for office;but then again, that's politics for you!

It is a fake feud to keep people entertained like America has a real choice. In fact, the Republicrats are both in the pocket of big business.

pretty much, but you cant stop people from making fools of themselves. wait...you could tie them up with straight jackets and stick them to the floor with duct tape. then you'd be doing the foolishness for them.
