A Blog is an online journal that is used to log things. A Web Log if you want to be more specific. I wondered what a blog was for like more than a year, and I just recently started using my first "blog" on myspace, I've had myspace for the longest time and then one time decided to "blog" and asked the exact same question! Basically it's a place to write your thoughts (a journal) for all the world to read... or atleast anyone that has the internet!

It's short for weblog. It's basically a journal or diary that is online for other people to read. Many people use them to give commentary on news events or other things, rather than discuss their personal lives.

log that can be view or edit using browser via internet.
Log can be journal, diary, something interesting, photos, or any content. Can be personal or about specific topic.

It's a place for people that think what they have to say or their life is so interesting that they have to post it for everyone to see. That gives people who need something to do some alternative to do other than committing suicide.

it is an online journal. some are free and some are not. you can add people or links to your site. examples: myspace, xanga, blogger
