Dynamite USED to be made from nitroglycerine absorbed by clay, but that was very dangerous: Over time, the nitroglycerin would leak out and collect in the bottom of the box. Then when you bumped the box, the whole thing would blow up!
Now they make it from diesel oil, and Ammonium Nitrate with some filler like sawdust. Much safer and still about the same strength.

False. There is no compond that made of 7 carbon atoms and 1 nitrogen atom. They cannot form the proper bonding.

Sort of true. Dynamite is nitroglycerin soaked up in a porous rock, kieselguhr. A nitroglycerin molecule consists of atoms of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen. You're probably about right about numbers of nitrogens and carbons.

There are different forms of dynamite but the one that most people are familiar with is trinitrotoluene. The formula is C7N3O6H2.

Find mass of empirical formula. C5H7N = 81.116 grams. divide gram molecular mass by above answer 162g/81.116g = 1.997 (~ 2, so we call it 2 ) Now, multiply this 2 times the empirical formula. 2(C5H7N) = C10H14N2

main component is nitroglycerin(C3H5N3O9) but it contains some other materials to make it safer to handle than pure nitroglycerin. Maybe you're referring to TNTor trinitrotoluene with chemical formula C7H5N3O6
