If the Boeing job is better, and has better opportunities and a better future, take it. Explain to your current company that you got an offer you can't refuse, thank them for the opportunity they gave you, and make sure not to burn any bridges - finish any project you started, tell them they can call you after you leave if they have questions, and if you can stay until they find a replacement, that is great.

I have hired people who left after a short time because they got a better offer. All I could do is wish them luck. I know my company could never offer the kind of opportunity a big company could offer, and that people need to look out for themselves.

Do what's best for you.

It all depends on your situation. If you are just out of college, Boeing will be better. Having Boeing on your resume when yo uare starting off your career will be an asset, while a small company will not have that much of an impact. If you have been working for awhile, then what should matter is if you are going to like the job or not.

There is no such thing as job security- many Boeing employees lose their jobs to widen the profit margin; Boeing really doesn't care about anything but the money. Know this before you do anything. I would take the Boeing job anyway, if for no other reason than putting it on your resume when you move on.

I believe that eventhough you just started working in a small company you should definetly look into the new job offer. Working for a company like Boeing is a big opportunity and you would probably have a better chance of developing a carreer in a big company like this and also gain some valuable experience.

Depends -- did you make any promises (verbal or in writing) during the interview or selection process that you would stay for a specifc length of time? If you did, it really would be the right thing to stay in your current position for the time you agreed to -- Boeing (or other company) will still be there when you fulfill your obligation.

Take the better opportunity, but do it right. Give a two weeks notice. It shows you respect your current employer, and your future employer will respect you for that decision.

Accept it, do and be happy that you have a job. Many people became jobless after finding out that they're too choosy with their job wants.
