YES! I have one and I just planted one at my mother-in-laws. It's also called a Sambucus Nigra. It gets really big and is beautiful and attracts all sorts of birds. It also gets beautiful light pink flowers against purple-copper leaves and then large clusters of dark berries. We live on the shore so it does very well for us.
ALSO - if your into it, t is a great source of homeopathic medicines. You have to make teas (never eat raw - not poison but not pleasant) from the berries and/or leaves depending on whats wrong but it treats a ton of ailments like flu, constipation and herpes - serious. Google homeopathic cures, sambucus nigra..
