Tweety,
Go. Have a good time. I was born here, and this is really early for tropical storms. The atmosphere is just not favorable for a 'cane. That said, however, after last season, who knows? Strange that we just had Alberto, but Florida got a lot of rain which we need. It may not rain while you are here either, as we are having a drought.
But you will definitely be HOT, and it's just the beginning of summer. LOL....
August, September are our 'cane months historically.
Live a little, come have some fun, and don't worry so much!

The weather is pretty unpredictable. There is always the chance there will be bad weather. But, it does depend on where you will be going. Since you listed this under Orlando, you should be fine. Because of the location of Orlando, they may get some stroms from the hurricane. But it won't be anything like the coast of Florida.

probably..it's early in the season for the really big storms. But I would suggest you watch the weather channel several weeks before the trip. Hurricanes are very slow moving and you get LOTS of warning about them. Just don't be stupid and play the odds that it will move to miss you!

Depends on what section of the state you go to. Northeastern Florida-i.e. Jacksonville, just gets wet most of the time.

There will probably be rain everyday, but it last only about ten minutes and almost instantly dries up when it is over.
