"The conflict we are witnessing around the globe isn't a conflict of religions, or a conflict of civilizations. that's a conflict between 2 opposites, between 2 eras. that's a conflict between a mentality that belongs to the middle a at the same time as and yet another mentality that belongs to the twenty first century. that's a conflict between civilization and backwardness, between the civilized and the primitive, between barbarity and rationality. that's a conflict between freedom and oppression, between democracy and dictatorship. that's a conflict between human rights, on the single hand, and the violation of those rights, on different hand. that's a conflict between those who manage females like beasts, and those who manage them like human beings. Although I think that she would probably do a good job and is well qualified, I doubt that the majority of the American public would be willing to give any woman a chance at presidency.

I think she would have a better chance if she were running as vice president.

Not a chance - the Republicans have copies of every tape & interview of her changing her position. I heard an hour of them last week. What a laugh!! She had 3 opinions on the same item. These will all come out. People already want a reason to not vote for a woman & she has given them hundreds of reasons.

If any woman had a serious chance, she would be the one...however, regardless of any strides toward equality, I don't think we'll see a female president until the American public gets off their apathetic butts and demand changes in the political process in general and specifically, drag themselves to the polls. Everybody bitches but nobody does anything about it...including voting.

I sure hope so. We could use a President with some common sense, one that actually listens to what others say. I think she even has the balls to lead the Armed Forces with some competance. And, an extra, she sleeps with a terrific diplomat.

I hope not. Another Clinton! Ick! The thing is, people are going to be like whoa first woman president! Let's vote for her!!! It is an insult to women to have her as the first woman president.

Let's hope not. Who in the world would want a
screaming, cussing, lying woman like her as our
President and Bill as First Man. Rediculous. I
don't think she's acceptable to either Democrats
or Republicans.

No--- I don't believe that the United States is ready for minority president (women are not minority by numbers but you know what i mean)... esp. a minority president whose husband's past will be remembered for a long time to come
