I am having remote Reiki treatments because I can't afford in person treatments. I want to become a Reiki practitioner so I can start healing myself and others but I can't afford to go to a teacher physically so I'll have to rely on distant courses. What are some bonifide Reiki online classes I can take online with certification so I can start healing immediately?

You can take classes over the internet/phone/mail (I even offer them) but you're really better off learning in person if you are an absolute beginner. The distant attunements work fine..that's not the problem...the problem is the subtleties of hand positions and the true give-and-take you get in a class with other students which is so valuable to a beginner.
Unfortunately a lot of what is offered for free or low cost online goes along with the old caveat: you get what you pay for. You'll get a manual and an attunement and be sent on your merry way with zero training. That's fine if you're just learning a new TYPE of Reiki, but not for a beginner.
