Only way to get pregnant is to have sex without protection, Swimming or climbing a mountain before sex has nothing to do with getting pregnant

Okay, that has got to be one of the most ridiculous anti-pregnancy myths I've ever heard. Let me say this loud and clear: ANY TIME THAT YOU HAVE SEX, YOU CAN GET PREGNANT. Yes, even if you've gone swimming. Yes, even if you're standing up. Yes, even if you've douched with Coca Cola. Yes, even if it's your first time. You can even get pregnant if you use protection and it fails. Any time you have sex it is possible to get pregnant.
There is no sure-fire way to stop pregnancy that doesn't involve abstaining from sex. However, if you are on hormonal birth control and use condoms and some other form of protection, such as spermicide or a diaphragm, your chances are drastically lowered.

I think you may have heard of a study done by some Sweden guys. They were submerging their testes into hot water and then testing their sperm count. At high enough temperatures (not hot enough to burn, but probably not very comfortable) their sperm counts went to zero and stayed that way for a couple days. I would recommend against doing this, because you may not hit the temperature necessary, and it doesn't sound fun anyway. Just wrap it up. Avoid pregnancy, and STD's.
