As a government employee, you get first shot at US Governement surplus. Some of the computers are worthless, but some are brand new in the box.

Head over to http://www.firstgov.gov/shopping/shopping.shtml to take a look at what's available. Make sure you look at the conditions of the sale you're interested in, as some are open to the public, and some are only for particular agencies.

every august in the mayority of school distric they get new laptop comp. iam sure they could give you one because they stay ther e until next year .......they might get like 300 and they use 265 or 270 who know s what happen to the rest believe me it is true.
you need to go to those technical school where they teach the professors the basic of computers.
in each distric there is a site where the teachers go to school to learn.
Isuggest you go and start looking for that place now

Nowhere cheaper than on ebay...and you can but a one-year warranty for less than $10 in many cases...why, it's a regular "firesale" 24/7...sorry, I couldn't help myself.
