For sure. Financially it would be your best move. You can save money and have a nice bank account when you do move out on your own.

I turn 26 in 2 days....I moved home when I graduated from undergrad 2 1/2 years ago.
Living at home is hard. My mom passed away recently, so it's just my dad and I. We don't get along well.
However, paying rent sucks! You're just throwing away money. I'm in a great position right now financially. Low bills, able to save for a house, and I can spend my money on fun things (vacations, clothes, cars, etc etc. it's really nice!)
I started my MBA in Jan. If I could last here with my dad, I'll probably stay until I'm finished grad school.....though renting is looking better and better each day.

I'd move in with my mom if I needed to, yes. If you move in with your folks, though, do it as an adult. Make arrangements ahead of time to pay them a little something, help out, take care of your own stuff just like you've been doing in your apartment. If you go in without doing that, you risk lapsing into "little girl" status and feelings are going to get hurt.

Mine are both dead now. My mother was very ill and I moved in wtth her to take care of her and also I saved money on rent. I think it's OK. I would not move in with them if I were married, however. Be very careful there.

I would. There is nothing wrong with living with your parents while you get your feet on the ground. At some point though, when you are able, you should move to your own place.

that seems ok as long as you're only staying there until you have the opportunity to leave. i'd only want to move back into my parents house if i was going to freeze to death outside or something. and i'd be gone at the first chance. nothing against my parents, but i dont want to rely on anyone unless i absolutely need to.

I think it's great that your Parents offered to let you move back in, Most Parents won't think of it.
Go for it.

Since my parents are not living, it would be kinda spooky for me! But, why not you, save some money. Even if you don't get along, it's only a few months.
