My 5 mo old daughter has the same problem. She has a rash on her cheeks from her saliva because she's teething and she sometimes has a rash on her forehead or on her legs and arms. Her pediatrician suggested to use Hydro-cortisone ointment and it works. But the rash will come back. You just have to reapply as needed.

I say it is just baby rash, but if you are that worried make an appointment for the pediatrician. My son had it on and off for a couple of months between 3 and 5 months.

could be very normal like the pharmacist said.....i know you are looking for some magic answer........i always was when my kids were little and i was worried about them. baby ezema is common....a rash to the facial are can also sometimes mean strep throat....but with the infrequency and return issue that is unlikely to be the problem......go to the ped. and get it checked...it will ease your fears and they can prescibe a topical cream(can't remember the name...sorrry) that really helps.....good luck and congrats on the your new baby....they really are a blessing even if they don't sleep through the night!!!!

It sounds like baby acne or eczema, change to a lotion with no perfumes or additives like aveno or eucerin. Also if you live in a hot weather area it could be like heat rash, does it show on her chest and arms also? Take her to her pediatrician if it gets worse.

Have alot of people (family or not) been kissing/ touching her face alot? Babies have very sensitive skin and my niece's facial skin started to break out when she was about 4 1/2 months because people were always "in her face" with there germs...

If it's round circles on the cheeks, it's probably a teething rash.

Baby acne. From kissing or just a reaction from whatever type of products you're using

It could be normal. I've seen a lot of babies with it and it was completely normal. Have you asked a doctor? They should be able to narrow it down.
