I'm sick of the same old ****, got any new stuff? NO RAP OR HIPHOP OR OLDIE STUFF, PLEASE. Just bands that you have discovered and liked for their meaning. Is that so hard to ask for nowadays? Bands with meaning?

I like bands like The Offspring, Sum 41, Hot Hot Heat, etc.

Please and thank you!

Light rock or alternative rock or pop-rock is good. No deafening shrieks, yet no sentimental boyband-ish melodies either. Not too weird and not too common. Edgy and angsty, but still somehow soothing.

I recommend TheSpeaks, The Calling, Lifehouse, Vertical Horizon, Incubus, Rooster, Switchfoot, and Evanescence.

I like tool very much. They are original musically. They use odd time signatures and rhythms, which I enjoy listening to. Just check them out.
