Scaling the Cliffs of Insanity, battling Rodents of Unusual Size, facing torture in the Pit of Despair -- it's all good! I love Andre the Giant and his rhyming. "Would you like a peanut?". I love Cary Elwes (who usually plays a bad guy) and his sexy pirate thing. I love Mandy Patinkin and how he says, in that sexy accent, "Hello. I'm Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." I love Billy Crystal as Miracle Max. "He said, 'to blaaa'..." I love that creepy Albino and I even love Prince Humperdink (what a great name!). This movie is a pleasure for all to watch.

This movie is why we watch movies. What more could you ask for? Funny, entertaining, and a heck of a good show. Good pick.

Oh yes indeed this movie rules. I love the book too, yes there's a book! Parts are different than the movie, but subtly so. I love this movie, it's got the best elements it's a chick-flick that guys can watch too 'cuz of all the action and slapstick humor.

The Fire Swamp part is my favorite. Buttercup: We'll never survive!
Westley: Nonsense you're only saying that because no one ever has.
few lines later
Westley: It's not that bad.
Buttercup looks at him.
Westley: I'm not saying I'd like to build a summer home here, but the trees are actually quite lovely.

It's a great movie, but my favorite also has Cary Elwes in it. It is called Robin Hood: Men in Tights. Great stuff. I love his movies. I love how the guy keeps repeating "Hello. I'm Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." LOL. GOOD STUFF!

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The first is never get involved in a land war in Asia. The second, only slightly less well known, is this: never go up against a Sicilian when death is on the line!
One of my all time favorites, if only my boyfriend realized what he could get if he would only reply to my every whim with "As you wish"

yes it rocks and so many great comedy actors. I love the part where they say "Ah but I know a secret I am really left handed" and the other says he is too. I really likde the way the Dred Pirate Roberts out smarts all of them. A great family fav.

Not much can get in the way of true love.

Prince Humperdink: I don't think I'm quite familiar with that phrase.
Westley: I'll explain. And I'll use small words so that you'll be sure to understand, you warthog-faced buffoon.

One of the best!!! If you enjoyed the Princess Bride, you might also like Time Bandits. And remember...Never match wits with a Sicilian!!!

I love that movie. Even though I've seen it many times, I still laugh when I see it. I like men in tights......:) And the blind guy cracks me up. I haven't seen it in awhile, now I'll have to make it a point to watch it again soon.

Great music as well, esp. the princess bride song. Great for a wedding. In fact, I had hoped my daughter would have that song when she got married.
