He'll be okay other than the fact we won't recognize him. Maybe he'll learn from this mistake although I hear a helmet wouldn't of help much with the kind of injuries he have.

As a Steelers fan, while it is by far not the best decision he could have made, he will return and be fine. They are saying it's only a 7 week injury, and he'll miss at most just one preseason game.

The Steelers have a good enough running game, O-Line and defensive front 7 to overcome anything shaky at the beginning of the season.

Big Ben will be fine, I only pray he will wear a helmet from now on!:)

He'll play this coming season although with a broken jaw he may lose some weight and strength in the healing process. Also some reported he had a fractured eye socket...if that is the case it could remain very tender well into the season. I do think the guy is an idiot for risking a multi-million dollar career for the sake of riding...but then he is still young and dumb...

I don't think his career is over, but I thought the players had clauses in their contracts that said that there were certain activities they could not participate in? Maybe I am wrong.
The media will always speculate and make situations way more than what they are. Now Kellen Winslow Junior's accident seems almost minute compared to Big Ben's.

He'll be fine...The Steelers will do its best to make their most valuable asset healthy just in time for the season. With all that money, "Big" Ben will have "Big" Time Doctors surrounding him.

He was beat up pretty bad with his jaw and all but i think he'll be back but not as quarter back. I wish he would have worn a helmet he was on my favorite team. Pour Ben

Nah, a broken jaw and nose can't stop him from football. Winning a superbowl his second year won't be enough for him. He'll make sure he gets better so he can do it again.

This will not stop him at all. This just shows what a tough son of bit*ch he is..This will only make him more of a Pittsburgh legend than Bradshaw or Bobby Layne.

He is a bonehead. He didn't like wearing a helmet when he rode but he wears a helmet for a living. His knees seem all right so only time will tell.
