Why do people ask so many racist questions about black people and then ask if black people are racist?

In Yahoo! groups, there are so many bigoted questions about black people... yet there are not so many (if any) about white people by black people, and then white people ask questions about why we feel discriminated against, why we still think racism is a problem... I mean just look at the questions on this board, a general gathering of people in society- the mindset of many of the white people on here is bigoted, narrow-minded and backwards. Is it really hard for white people to comprehend that possibly racism still exists... and they just don't know or understand because they are White? Or do white people think they can understand a black person's experience in the USA without ever having been black and discount a black person's experience because it doesn't align with their idea of what the world is 'supposed' to be like?

Gweedo: I'm not crying because I ask a question. Just because you're mexican doesn't mean you know me or mine, so get real with yourself. I asked a question based off of the questions of white people on the board. Please try to stay on topic when answering questions.

Iono son Palo: Once again, I am basing my question off of the questions that have been posed by white people on these boards. You have not seen me use a 'cop-out' so to speak... and I am not talking about every other country but about this one specifically using the questions posed by bigoted white people. You can be angry with 'most' black people if you want to, but it doesn't answer my question.

Alex La Croix: It may be that the statistics have reported that black people commit more hate crimes... and that may be a fact... but consider that a 9 year old little black boy was just set on fire in arizona by some white boys and they don't even know if they have a homicide case... many things can be swept under the rug. Statistics may or may not be accurate... but that's a discussion for another time.

Just because there are racist white people (and there are, for sure) doesn't mean there AREN'T racist black people. But since there are more white people in the USA, there are more white racists. I am always ashamed and embarrassed by racists; they always assume all other white people are racists, too. They tell 'jokes' and use racial slurs, it's terrible. But, honestly, most of us white people really aren't like that. It's just that the decent people aren't likely to be seen. We don't declare ourselves, we don't post questions like "I love people of all races; do you love them too?", so you only see the bigoted crap. I'm sorry it comes across that way. We don't talk about race because it isn't important to us. Try to keep that in mind when you see the racist questions. We hate those jerks, too.

I saw someone ask why do white people think they get to act black. I think that every race has its racists, its just a matter of how hidden it is. I would say that white people are probably the most racist of all, but the best at keeping it to themselves...Its not hard to learn quickly that if you don't have something nice to say, you don't say it at all. It happens to be a fact that the majority of Hate crimes committed during 2004 were by African-Americans at a little more then 5,000 case, but white people weren't far behind with a little less then 4,000. Asians and native Americans commit the fewest at a little below 100 and 4 respectively.

I'll take a stab at this. On YA there are plenty of irritated self founded folks. Some white, a few black and the opposite multides of races. Appraently one of the nice examples of self centeredness additionally love to make racist coments and engauge by way of making questions. Is it probale that black folks are extra countless in racist questions, good sure. I have spotted this disutbing fashion.But because the the motive that they ask racist query, I can simplest suppose immaturity and a must have a few touch with others on a emotional stage. But I must disagree with you in your remark approximately white folks now not asking racist questions, I have noticeable it, and once more it's at a reduce freqency than the ones of black folks. But what does that rather topic?

I have been in this world enough to know that many (and that's an understatement) black people are extremely racist against whites. And when you ask why, it's always some cop out back to: whites keeping them down. Got news for you...was the mercy of certain whites, that got blacks out too!

Some don't like to work. Some don't like to be moral. Some don' t like pain associated with gain. So they don't gain.

Do you know what a cop out is? Didn't Bill Cosby call it a cop out?

The black experience in the USA? I got news for you, any other nation, you'd have it 100 times worse. Only in the USA can people ride the system, and strut down the street like they got something going.

I work with black people from other countries and they systematically slam blacks in the USA. I don't ask why but, I'm going to assume that they want me to know that they work hard, and don't play games, and don't have cop out as part of their lingo.

The funny thing here is that black people and mexican are more racist now days then any other race, LOL, I love it, I think its funny. b/c if you are black you know its true the only difference is we (black and mexicans) dont let white people know it as much. and guess what for a real person telling the truth black people discriminate worse thatn mexicans, LOL so get real with your self and quite crying!

You just have to take it from where it comes Leah, and understand that the majority of white people arent like that.
But what you also have to understand is that black people can be just as racist.
And we have to understand that the majority of black people arent racist either.

i was going to post a question similar to this you are right alot of the white people on yahoo answers say that we are racist, but you rarely see racist post from blacks about whites you see how stupid they are f**k them all i hate them although hate is a strong word, they make me soooo sick. they are also jealous and just so ******* curious. some white people need to get a life, you notice in life that the majority of people worrying about stupid **** like banning porn, songs and certain television shows claiming that they are too derogatory are whites they are always worrying about others they need to fix themselves. they have problems its always a high number of whites commiting suicide then any other race in america and suffering from diseases such as anorexia or belemia they are crazy and sooooo f_U_C_K_E_D up in the head, any way you are right so dont worry about their stupid *** you dont need **** from them
