Well i was just wondering, if you could actually be friends with your ex's or not. Because for some it doesn't workout well, because of so much memories..

After my ex broke up with me, I was considering the possiblity of a friendship. A friend of mine asked me a question..."True or false, given the opportunity you would rather date him than just be friends" I answered "True". He told me that you can only really be friends when you can answer that question "False" and actually mean it without lying to yourself.

I now live by that and am happily in a friendship with an ex. IT CAN HAPPEN!

I don't see why not. I'm still friends with my first love and let me tell you it been 15 years sence we dated.

If the break up was mutual and amicable it can work. If one still has feelings (good or bad) it won't work.

It all depends on why you broke up in the first place.
