Don't go overboard. Give him $30 bucks or a gift certificate. It's just junior high... I just graduated high school and I've had all A's all my life and I got an mp3 player. So just something that'll make him happy and appreciative. Something that will help him want to do good next year with the idea that he might get something at the end.

Maybe something that will help him keep doing well through high school, such as a new laptop.

A gift certificate is a great idea, especially if it's from a place that has many different types of things for sale to chose from.

Don't give him a gift. I know it sounds crazy but you should expect him to do well. I am also graduating from Junior High and I am not getting anything. I have had good grades and was in honor society and Top Ten Percent. You should expect your child to do good. It makes us suceed more.

A pat on the back! Why should a child get gifts for getting good grades??? That is a child's job! Tell him you love him and you are proud of him! And keep up the good work!

Give him a dvd camcorder. I just graduated from 8th grade, and on Sunday my dad took me to Best Buy and bought me a Canon DVD Camcorder. It's awesome.

Give him a hug, and tell him how proud you are of him. Kids just need to know that someone cares, and they need to know that they can turn to you if they have questions or need help. You could also give him so money too.
