Supposedly if you feel ugly you will lose confidence in yourself and others will catch on and treat you accordingly. I am not an attractive woman and people treat me as an unattractive woman no matter how I feel about myself. Improving your confidence may get others to see you in a better light, but if you aren't pretty you just aren't pretty.

when you think you are ugly then you are. You start to act like you are sad, angry, and even depressed because have the time you are constintly thinking how ugly your( which you are not). Now in the past I have always been thinking about the way I look. I mean I would compare myself to everyone all the time. Well I got so tired of doing that and destroying my self. So I started getting closer to God because of other issues in my life and family issues. I have come to realize that everyone can not look the same and what everyone describes as pretty and ugly is everyone else's own opinion. It is kind of like art or a painting. God is the artist and we are His creation. So everything He has created is beautiful in His eyes and that is all that really matters. I have also discovered that people who always look for physical beauty has not heart because you can't do that. You need to look on the inside. If the inside is beautiful then of course the outside is. It is just the way one looks at it. Besides when you go around and stop putting down on yourself it makes you feel a lot better and other will recognize how great your real personality is.

It works like this: When you feel ugly, you carry a demeanor that other people notice, so they think that you are ugly. If you are convinced that you are good-looking, other people will feel the same way. Obviously this idea cannot make an ugly person hot, or vice versa, but it is often the difference between average people.

Because other people tend to see what you believe about yourself. When someone believes that they are ugly then they exude it externally. People who can see beyond a persons own belief system sees the true beauty of the person inside drowning in their own pit of self made image issues.

Not so much ugly in appearance, but ugly in attitude.
Depression, for instance can make others depressed.
Because I know I went through it. We can be happy...if we choose to be. A lot of people, unfortunately, choose to be sad, angry, etc.
It is possible to control our own emotions

yes, because you convey that to other people. it's noyt outward appearance but your attitude that turns people off. Those negative feelings are projected to others and it turns them offNegative feelings lead to depression and that can lead to poor hygiene and self esteem. You become what you think you are.
