What is your worst nightmare that could end up ruining your life?
For me, I always think that to go to prison would be like hell on earth. Especially if it was for life for something you didn't do.
Maybe I just watch too many movies............anyway, you get the gist - what are some scenarios that will probably never happen, but still make your skin crawl to think about?
I know it's silly - but go on, humour me - let's have some fun!

Civilization ending in some catastrophe and having to figure out how to survive in the wilderness. Being lost in a foreign country with no money and no linguistic skills. Someone developing time travel and using it bring victory to the Nazis, and modern day America becoming a German speaking, super censored, ultra-fascist, 'Big Brother' country as a result. Religious Fundamentalists seizing the government and forming an American Theocracy that oppresses minorities, gays, and women. Britain finally unleashing its centuries old plan to retake Boston. An inter-stellar trading consortium of Non-Terrans comes to Earth, but only wants to trade with Iran. Islamic extremism spreading through SE Asia and gaining control over more countries. My body becomes covered in painful boils that seep and sting. Becoming blind. Loosing my legs.

I had a dream that the world actually ended and I saw Jesus in a place that kind of looked like where the Shepperds put their sheep and the sun was trying to set, but there was still plenty of light. Why a nightmare? I don't want the world to end yet because there is still plenty of life left for me to live. That is just a sign to me that the end is near.

I'm living one. We "supposedly" sold our house by owner to close june 15th {this thursday} I stopped working to get things ready to move out of state, my husband put in a notice for June 15th, most of our furnishings are in storage. and now the buyer who gave us a contract tells us "oh it'll probably be another few weeks". We have interviews for next Monday, no jobs here. Since we know the buyer has 39 other properties, should my husband go on south and attempt to get a place to live and work or stay here and see if we can get temp jobs till the house goes through, and since the contract is a store copy we've all signed without benefit of notary or lawyer will he even buy the house?

My worst nightmare has already happened to me. I'd say that being raped again would be something I couldn't deal with. I could deal with prison, war, famine, death...but not having that happen to me again.

it's going back to work at the ice cream shop I first worked at... oh, man, I still dream about that place sometimes. Frightening.
