Dumb, or not....They are geared to get your attention, and apparently they have done just that. Also have you ever noticed that when a commercial comes on, the tv tends to sound a bit louder?.......It's a proven fact. Don't believe me? Pay close attention the next time you are watching a program and you'll see.

I hate antacid commercials. They tell us to go ahead and stuff ourselves with foods that make us sick, and just take medicine. Is it any wonder Americans are the most overweight people in the world? Those commercials are encouraging gluttony! How stupid is that?

I just hate the one for Six Flags Over Texas. The old guy and the song it plays...I will just mute it.
Also the local car dealership commercials with those whinny-talking family daughters....

Local commercials that use young kids to sell their products. I mean you can't make out a word they are saying and I doubt that they really care about quality mattresses, pawn shops, and hearing aides.

hmmm......the late night chat ones that have some hot girl dancing on the screen and some great voice over begging you to call and get to know the girls...etc. etc., you know it's some smoke riddled hag in curlers who is going to answer and they're just so sleazy. they really annoy me....oh well,

Meow Mix cat food once had a commercial of cats singing
"Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow
Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow
Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow

with the cats' mouth's movement lip-synchronized to the music.
Then at the end of the song the voice-over would say "Meow Mix, the cat-food that cats ask for by name."

the stupidiest commercial i've ever seen was the Geico commercial when they said something about the cavemen and they got mad. That was dumb.

I would have to say the stupidist commercials EVER... are the ones for pet food, where they dont talk... they bark & meow at you and you have to read subtitles!! I HATE THOSE!! :0(
