Every avatar I download to use on a forum is bigger than 6 KB, which is the forum's size limit.What can I do?

Most message forums automatically resizes them. If they don't, make sure they are saved as jpg, gif or png to reduce file size. You may have to resize it until you get it to 6KB. Some programs like PhotoSuite III, Adobe Photoshop and others allow you to compress the image so it saves smaller. If you don't have that program, ask around, someone will have it.

Can you save them at a lower resolution (or as a smaller file type), then load in the new smaller, file?
